Complex Media has made producing video content a big part of its business, and has found big success in doing so. The brand is producing culturally relevant content that continues to grow in popularity.
The brand's video of skateboard legend Tony Hawk riding the the first functional hoverboard prototype has millions and millions of views.
"Our audience is into visual media," Marc Ecko, founder and chief brand officer at Complex Media, told Digiday. "Right now, video is the best way to serve that."
Complex's big video push started in late 2013. The brand launched Complex News, a channel that produces about 20 videos per day.
