Generic Stock Photos Must Die

By Jillean Kearney on January 27, 2016

Generic stock photos are the worst, and it's surprising that they're still being used by a lot of marketers.

Don't use photos with weird stock photo models in them.

As Econsultancy puts it: "It’s meaningless corporate guff. The photographic equivalent of saying ‘I hope you’re well’ at the beginning of an email."

Instead, find a photo or graphic that is relevant to your content and your message/story that is being told.

At Agility CMS, we use TheStocks.im to find photography that looks great contains zero awkward stock models in weirdly forced situations. We highly recommend it.
