Google Analytics' Lesser-Know (but Extremely Useful) Metrics

Lesser Known Google Analytics Features That You Should Be UsingGoogle Analytics is an essential tool for most marketing teams, and it's used to gain an understanding of digital audiences. Last year, over two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies used Google Analytics. That's a 6% increase from the year before. 

Google Analytics is a complex tool, and it offers a lot of insights and metrics that have largely gone unnoticed by a majority of marketers. 

One such metric, and it's a highly useful one, is Weighted Sort. 

Weighted Sort provides insight into pages that have both high traffic volume and high bounce rates, indicating missed opportunities for engagement and conversions. To view Weighted Sort, head to any table within Google Analytitcs. Click on the "Bounce Rate" column to sort the rows. Next, click on the dropdown beside "Sort Type" and select "Weighted".
