Last week, Google confirmed that its search results pages on desktops will no longer display text ads within the right sidebar.
Now, a maximum of four text ads will be displayed above organic search results, and as many as three will show up at the bottom of the page underneath the listings.
This update will likely impact advertisers in terms of impressions, click through rates, etc.
