Google Officially Rolls Out New Iteration of Mobile-friendly Ranking Signal

Today, Google officially fully rolled out the second iteration of its mobile-friendly update.

John Mueller, Google Webmaster Trends Analyst, announced the news this morning. He tweeted: "The mobile changes mentioned here are now fully rolled out."

This update increases the mobile-friendly ranking signal's effect; so if your site is already optimized for mobile, there's nothing to worry about.

The mobile-friendly algorithm indexes websites on a page-by-page basis, so it's a slow roll out process. As a result, it may take a while to see results show up in your analytics if your site is not mobile-friendly.
