Google Analytics is often overlooked as an SEO resource because of all the other metrics and insights it provides to marketers; but KISSmetrics put together a list of 5 ways to use Google Analytics to measure SEO performance and generate reports within the tool.

One tip from KISSmetrics is to create an SEO Dashboard within Google Analytics. A dashboard is an organized group of widgets that provide an overview of latest activity, trends and more that is easy to share and view. Within Google Analytics click on "Dashboards" and then select "New Dashboard". To start populating your dashboard with content, select "Add Widget". From here, you will able to select metrics like "Total Organic Visits" by filtering Sessions to only display Medium > Exactly matching > organic.
