Peak Creativity: The Best Times to Write

By Jillean Kearney on April 30, 2015

Creativity can be a fickle thing.

Some content creators do their best work early in the morning after exactly 2.5 cups of coffee, while others are the most productive late into the night as they peer at their monitor through sleep-heavy eyes.

There's also a group of content creators that haven't quite hit their stride when it comes to finding their peak creativity time(s).

Neil Patel over at Quick Sprout made an infographic to help content creators figure out the time of day that is best suited to do their best work.

For example, if you're a morning person you're probably better at solving problems late into the evening. Night people are more successful at solving problems during the morning hours. When your brain tires, your focus widens and you can then see more opportunities and connect them to each other. On the flip side, your creativity is limited when your brain is focused on fewer thoughts and tasks.
