Pinterest is set to compete with Twitter and Facebook as an advertising platform for big brands.
Currently, Pinterest is working with agencies, brands and its marketing partners to find out what an advertising platform needs in order to get advertisers on board.
According to Kevin Knight, head of creative and brand strategy, Pinterest is still making adjustments to its platform in order to fulfill must-haves for tech and creative.
"Since we're building a lot of this from scratch, we look for people with really good insights into what we should build," Knight told Digiday. "Agencies, brands and tech partners are calling out to us saying this is the next wave of stuff we need from you guys."
