A "Buy" social-commerce button is in the works for Twitter. The button will be embedded in tweets, making it easy for users to purchase promoted products.
Just two weeks ago, the social giant signed a deal with Stripe, a digital payment company, to partner together on a mobile commerce initiative that already includes brands like Warby Parker and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Since that announcement, Twitter has also added Shopify, Bigcommerce and Demandware into the mix.
This isn't the first eCommerce move that Twitter has made. Earlier this year in June, Nike, Target and HBO launched micro eCommerce landing pages on the social network that included pricing and research information.Add a Comment | Back to Top
