Smithsonian Magazine recently announced the finalists of its 10th Annual Photo Contest. Editors narrowed down over 37,000 submissions to the top 50. Finalists were separated into five categories – The Natural World, People, Travel, American and Altered Images.
The photos are open to a vote until the end of the month. The reader's choice will be announced along with the editor's pick in June.
