According to a new report from Limelight Networks, smartphones have surpassed the desktop to be the dominant device for downloading digital content.
Limelight Networks bases their report on a survey from 2016 that included respondents from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Respondents ranked phones as the device used most often to download digital content. Desktops were ranked second, followed by tablets in third place. Personal computers were second, followed by tablets.
