HubSpot recently surveyed 4,000 marketers, across the world, as part of its 2015 State of Inbound report to find out what they think is the most overrated marketing tactic.
The survey asked respondents to rate the following tactics based on how overrated they are: blogging, social media, sales enablement, collateral development, SEO, email marketing, traditional paid advertising, online paid advertising and PR.
The survey found that, universally, the most overrated tactic is traditional paid advertising. Inbound marketers, outbound marketers, agencies and vendors all agree. However, non-profit marketers cited social media as the most overrated tactic.Add a Comment | Back to Top
