The latest "Social Business Benchmark" survey completed by Harris Poll for Hootsuite found that marketers are frustrated with the lack of ROI on social media marketing.
Two-thirds of the social media marketers that participated in the survey claim that analyzing and keeping track of social media activities is a major challenge. Over half said that they struggle with designing a social strategy.
Additionally, 55% find it very difficult to align social media strategies across their organization's departments. Analyzinf ROI is a problem too and nearly half of the participants are having difficulty getting "buy-in" from executives for social media campaigns.
